The library is seeking a small decrease in tax funding for the library for the 2021 budget year. The proposed 2021 budget can be found here. The amount of the budget raised from taxes is slightly less than in 2020 (-$475) while the overall budget is increasing in anticipation of continued improvements to the library building. The Friends of the Library have been actively fundraising and generously supported building renovations and new technology for the library in 2020. The 2020 budget can be found here. The board and staff of the library are working hard to keep costs down while providing a rich array of materials and services for our community.
Rose Unes and William Stamm are both seeking partial terms as trustees, each with terms ending December 31, 2021.
